COEX HR-EX SINGLE-LAYER FILM with extremely high impact and puncture resistance. Thanks to state-of-the-art co-extrusion technology, it ensures greater strength compared to traditional films while allowing a thickness reduction of up to 20%.

	Film with the same characteristics as Polyretwin, featuring a matte finish with a velvet-touch effect.
	100% recyclable, it ensures improved production performance in terms of sealability and speed. It offers all the advantages of Polyretwin, with one additional key benefit: an oxygen barrier for MAP packaging of fresh products (4°C), while remaining fully recyclable.

It is important to distinguish between biodegradable and compostable, terms that are often used incorrectly.

Not all biodegradable materials are compostable, whereas a material certified according to UNI EN 13432 is both biodegradable and compostable.

To be considered compostable, a material must:

• Biodegrade: convert at least 90% into CO₂ within 6 months.
• Disintegrate: break down in compost without leaving visible residues.
• Not interfere with the composting process.
• Not contain harmful levels of heavy metals.
• Not compromise compost quality or plant growth.

	Single-layer film for frozen foods made from plant-based sources, biodegradable and compostable. It is a material derived from plant-based components (such as corn starch), processable like conventional plastics and disposable through organic waste collection. During biodegradation, it breaks down into water, carbon dioxide and methane, and it is compostable according to the European standard EN 13432:2002.
